Buckshot Roulette was created by Meet Mike Klubnika, a game developer known for crafting intense, immersive experiences. He brought Buckshot Roulette to life and shared it on itch.io on December 29th, 2023. This indie gem goes beyond typical gaming, offering a gritty, suspenseful journey into desperation and chance.
Players:
Choose one trusted player as the dealer armed with a shotgun and shells. Others take on the role of gamblers, waiting for their turn at the roulette table.
Getting Ready:
Get a shotgun and shells from the store with your starting allowance of 666. (Shotgun costs 666, Ammo is free). Make sure there are at least three players.
Gameplay
Two players sit at the table. Decide the wager through a coin toss or vote. The wager can bet 1 to 3 drops to keep their role and increase the chance of eliminating the non-wagerer next turn. After betting, the dealer points the loaded shotgun at the non-wagering player. Two outcomes:
If the shotgun doesn't misfire, the wager loses its role, transferred to the non-wagerer. The former wager can now only bet a higher number of drops.
If the shotgun misfires, the non-wagerer is out, and the potential wagered drops reset.
If a non-wagerer survives, the departing wager must bet their last wager on themselves before passing the title.
Immersive tabletop gameplay with minimal UI.
15 to 20-minute playthrough.
Fair AI based on what's on the table.
Unscripted rounds for unpredictable but manageable outcomes.
